The apartment-hotel concept is something I have always found to be a great business model and Roost is no exception. The apartment was VERY accommodating as the kitchen and living area is where I spent most of my time. The furniture was well thought out and it allows you to have a few friends over without feeling cramped. The included coffee appliances and coffee beans was stellar as well the presentation of it. The living room has big beautiful windows that let in plenty of the natural light as well as gives you a view of the city. Since location is in the middle of downtown, the street noise can be an issue, especially during the morning and afternoon rush hour however, if your familiar with any big city you should already know that the noise comes with the territory. Interior noise from adjacent rooms was minimal or non-existent and the building felt rather secure since keycard access is the only way to access other the levels. The building itself was built in 1924 and features art-deco styling, high ceilings and rooms with contemporary modern look. Do I recommend this property ? heck yea!!!!!....If you will be in town for a week or more, I would look no where else for safe and secure resting accommodations.

We loved our stay at ROOST Midtown! We were visiting Philly for the marathon weekend. ROOST Midtown was perfect for this. It was relatively quiet at night despite being in a busy area, we were a 20 minute walk to the marathon start line and best of all we were able to make our own breakfast in the well stocked kitchen. The staff were so incredibly nice! I coordinated in advance with Austin the concierge to accept some packages for us, the person who checked us was full of helpful tips about the city. All the staff we encountered were so nice. The unit was also well decorated, it felt very cozy and modern. This was our first time staying in a ROOST and we would not hesitate to stay in another.

I absolutely loved this “hotel” and wish I had been staying for more than one night! Paul was so warm and welcoming when I arrived late. He did a fabulous job of describing the property and explaining the amenities. I was upgraded to a one bed suite. The suite was spotlessly clean and very well appointed. It had a full kitchen as well as a washer/dryer. I would be happy to live here. The bed was so comfortable and best of all the AC was efficient and quiet! Some lovely touches such as the filtered sparkling water dispenser on the floor and the rooftop deck area. I hope to be back soon!

We were only here 1 night. Clean, spacious, well appointed with useful things. The building is charming and staff seems friendly. Neighborhood feels relatively safe for single women traveling alone. I'll be back!

There was a few hiccups while staying here. But management was amazing and helped me and my husband through all of the hiccups. I am extremely grateful to the manager Seamus for his quick response and help with everything. He’s been very caring and helpful. I genuinely liked the room. It was so pretty and comfy and perfect for me and my husband. I will definitely be returning again soon! Definitely recommend!

The hotel is greatly orgranized and decorated like a living piece of art. There are live plants and seating places on floor. The bathroom is wide spacious, lots of modern amenities, cool coffee grinding and making tools. They provide full kitchen amenities, spoons, knives, pans, pots, handwash, dishwash. The rooms are extremely clean and the fragrance is noticeable around. We didn't use the TV much, but the dining and oven was helpful. We had few issues, but the staffs were extremely helpful into resolving them. Only downside maybe, no parking space. You can take suggestions from the reception on nearby altenatives. I parked in Sonesta, which was 10min walk, 25$/day because I mentioned I am referred by Roost.

Wow! What an amazing stay! We stayed two nights at ROOST, during our East coast trip. Spacious rooms, well furnished and super comfy. Kitchen is fully equipped, we even cooked one night! Bathroom amenities are exceptional, quality Le Labo shampoo and conditioner and even dryer and washing machine in the room. I’ll be checking for Roost properties in my next trips! Good to know; There is a gym equipped with Peloton bikes and a nice terrace on the last floor.
